Scenes from New York City
The city that never sleeps is a remarkably friendly, easy-going place to wander around and is full of interesting sights. Even details such as standpipes catch your eye and as I stood outside the Neil Simon Theater, home to the musical “Cats” at the time, a crew member at the stage door remarked that numerous people would stop there to photograph the striking red and gold standpipe.
This stock photo collection takes in views around Manhattan, of skyscrapers under construction and traffic on the Hudson river. Famous landmarks such as the Flat Iron Building and Central Park mix with eclectic details including abandoned, rusty bicycles and banjo-playing street musicians.
